First Impressions

Wizard Uninstaller is a very simplistic program which does not have all the flashy graphics or glossy buttons of other uninstaller programs. This has made it much easier to use and a lot more powerful.

Even though it mightn't win any awards for being the most elegant or inspirational of applications, it certainly knows how to uninstall programs, which is what it's meant for.

The uncompromising programs screen allows you to quickly find any program you want to uninstall (even the "hidden" programs which Windows doesn't list in the ADD / REMOVE Programs area) and then uninstall it quickly.

The process of finding and uninstalling programs with this tool seems to be very easy, but only using the application will give us any idea of this. Overall, the first impressions show this as a steadfast workhorse which works well to remove any program you want.

What It Claims To Do

Wizard Uninstaller claims to be able to "uninstall any program" at the click of a button. It does this by acting like what a computer technician would do, and removing the program with several in-built processes.

According the Wizard Uninstaller web site, it's meant to be able to do the following:

What It Actually Does

Having downloaded and installed Wizard Uninstaller ourselves, we can say that it is one of the fastest uninstaller programs we have used. It loaded all of our programs very quickly, allowing us to find which ever ones we wanted to uninstall immediately.

We tried uninstalling some of the most troublesome programs on our test computer, notably Norton Antivirus and Windows Live Messenger, with the result of us completely removing both programs in a matter of minutes.

Wizard Uninstaller works just like a computer technician, to automatically uninstall any program from your computer. It does this by doing several important tasks:

1. Removes Program Files

Wizard Uninstaller uses its search technology to find all the files related to the program you want to uninstall. It will then remove these files from your computer, preventing the program from loading up at all.

2. Removes All Registry Key "Links" With Windows
